Spray polyurethane foam has a higher racking strength, which adds structural strength and enhances overall building stability. The material is water resistant, has minimal water absorption, and is classified as an acceptable flood resistant material. FEMA has published a rating system ranking building products from 1 to 5(not acceptable to highly acceptable). SPF carries a “5” rating for its outstanding water-resistant qualities.
